You know that stash of jewelry in your closet that you can’t bear to throw out? You are brilliant for keeping that stuff – just brilliant. Scoop it up and make your way to Just Creations today and tonight for their Jewelry Swap Party.

The Swap Party will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. tonight, August 7, at Just Creations, 2722 Frankfort Avenue.

When you bring your jewelry, that jewelry you don’t wear but so brilliantly held onto, to the store any time before 6:15 p.m. today, you’ll receive a ticket for each piece. During the party, you can use each ticket to “shop” the jewelry that everyone else brought. Refreshments will be provided during the party, and everyone who participates in the swap will also receive a Buy One, Get One 50 Percent Off coupon for personal accessories ($30 or under) in the store.

If any jewelry from the swap is left unclaimed at the end of the night, it will be donated to Dress for Success, which provides low-income women with clothing appropriate for interviewing and the workplace.

If you haven’t been to Just Creations recently, you should know that they have added a couple of wonderful lines of clothing to go along with your jewelry and accessories. And of course, the store is full of Fair Trade items that you won’t find anywhere else in Louisville.

    About Kachina Shaw

A transplanted Hawkeye, I've now lived in Louisville longer than any other city. Can't live without: my husband and fur babies, coal-black coffee, peanut M&Ms, sunflowers, monthly vacations, books, walking paths, massage and a big purse.
