If you’re a fashion-loving Louisvillian, chances are you’ve heard of Betty Jeffries. Since early spring, this local clothing line has been shopped all over the city in its eye-catching green mobile boutique. And now that the autumn days are growing shorter and the temperature is dropping, the folks at Betty Jeffries have introduced a new way to shop their women’s business casual collection: the new Betty Jeffries holiday pop-up shop at Oxmoor Mall!
Before opening last weekend in honor of Small Business Saturday, owner of Betty Jeffries, Ralph London, gave me an exclusive sneak preview of what he has in store.

London also shared some insight on how his pop-up shop came about. With a history of retail management at Oxmoor Mall, London’s first idea for holiday business was to temporarily relocate the Betty Jeffries mobile boutique inside of the mall for the holiday shopping season. However, after pitching this idea to the mall’s management team, it was discovered that the mobile boutique itself would require too much room that the mall simply didn’t have. That’s when the brilliant idea of the pop-up shop was born.

Each year, Oxmoor Mall becomes flooded with temporary stores that remain open for business throughout the months leading up to holiday season. And since the local clothing line has been a huge hit since its launch, it only makes sense that Betty Jeffries should have its own spot in one of Louisville’s most frequently shopped centers.

And because of Oxmoor Mall’s increasingly high traffic, London decided to take advantage of the space and promote all of Louisville's community of local designers in a realm of national business franchises. He recruited a collection of his own favorite local designers to sell their merchandise in the temporary space. Along with Betty Jeffries’ completely stocked inventory of adorable business casual apparel for women of all sizes, expect to find simply dashing bow ties by Dap Kitsch, unique furniture by Josh Horn, delicately handmade pottery by Ben Hammond, custom leather accessories by William Dean, the perfect little black dress by upcoming design team, The New Blak, and exclusive one of a kind jewelry made by Louisville's Maddy Byrd. What shopper can resist a selection this diverse and adorable?
