Jodi White is the original M.I.L.F. (a title she has placed on herself…no misogyny here).  She has been a top draw in comedy clubs all over the country for the better part of two decades now.

Until recently, Jodi and her husband (comedian Dale Jones) called Louisville home, and could constantly be found mentoring young comedians on the local scene.  However, with their careers on the rise they re-located to the west coast earlier this year.

Lucky for us she has returned to her former hometown, and will be headlining at The Laughing Derby all weekend.  Her wit and often dry acerbic, as she meanders through her personal life about being a sexy mother (be careful, this is not a Prince song), having a gay son, and the tribulations that come with marriages and divorces.

Jodi White will be performing at The Laughing Derby April 10th – 12th $15, check the club’s website for times.

    About Brent Owen

Born and raised in Louisville, I have lived here most of my life (except during a short furlough, when I, lovelorn and naive, followed a girl to Baton Rouge). My roots are here, my family, my friends, and my life are all here. I work primarily as a free-lance writer for a few local and regional publications. I have also written two books (one a memoir, the other a novel) that barring some divine intervention, will probably never see the light of day. I find myself deeply ingrained in the local bar scene, or perhaps better said, I often indulge in the local drinking culture. I love music, movies, comedy, and really just about any other live performance art.
