    Forecastle Festival 2012 preview: Lucero
    Print this page

The band Lucero closes out the Boom Stage (located adjacent to Joe’s Crab Shack) on Friday night at the 2012 Forecastle Festival. The Memphis-based band performs an eclectic blend of punk, country, gospel and rock music.

Lucero has spent the last 14 years creating 8 albums; the latest with ATO Records, the label which is also home to Louisville’s own My Morning Jacket.

Touring is in their blood; the band has been on the road for the majority of the last decade. Last year, Lucero toured with and opened for rockabilly/punk band Social Distortion.

Lucero performs at the Forecastle Festival this Friday night, July 13th on the Boom Stage at 9:45pm.

    About Michelle Rynbrandt

Before landing in the Possibility City, Michelle toured the country performing in various regional theatres. Having been there and done that, she can honestly say that Louisville's cultural opportunities are second to none.
