Drop by Clifton this Friday afternoon (June 24th) for the 5th Annual Louisville Sustainable Living Fair (during the Frankfort Avenue Trolley Hop) and receive an easy-going run-through of businesses from around town that deliver sustainable living products and information to Louisvillians.
At the Clifton Universalist Unitarian Church--the hosting homebase of the event--you'll find the following free workshops: "Living Sustainably: in the Household" hosted by Tim Darst and Kentucky Interfaith Power and Light at 6pm, "Living Sustainably: on the Road" hosted by Drew Foley and 350.org at 7pm, "Living Sustainably: in the Garden" hosted by Nate Pederson and EarthSave at 8pm.
As well as the above mentioned free workshops there will be over fifty participating vendors. Expect exhibitions from groups that support the local food movements, groups that support change around climate and energy consumption, groups seeking to create a more sustainable city, groups that support conservation. Also look for purchasable green products and local environmentally conscious businesses.
