Baby it is cold outside and not warming up soon, so go inside for family entertainment this weekend, January 10-11.  It. Is. Cold. Head indoors this weekend for some family fun.  Here are five places to go or things to do with families in mind this weekend.

    Saturday, January 10, 9am, 10:30am, 11:30am
    Art Explorers (2-4 yrs & 5-9 yrs) & Zumba® Kids(7-11yrs) / Zumba® Kids Jr.(4-6yrs)

    Saturday, January 10, 10am-3pm
    Good Garbage Creative Reuse Center
hosts their open art and creativity time; stop by any time and make and create something new together. This awesome spot in the Portland area uses recyclable materials to upcycle and recreate things out of "garbage", and it is one of a kind in Louisville.  It's a great place to visit if you have never been, because you are venturing to a new part of town that has recently been working on revitalization. Stop in McQuixote Books and Coffee for a cup of warmth, and since you'll be close to downtown, check out Museum Row and all there is offered there for families. Remember, Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft always hosts their MakerSpace Weekends (artist guided drop in artsy workshops) from 12pm-3pm each weekend.
    Good Garbage-2020 Duncan Street 502-774-9900 / KMAC- 715 West Main Street 502-589-0102.
