Praised by critics as "the new voice of green," author Amanda Little will be featured at the main branch of the Louisville Free Public Library today as part of the Library Reading Series. Little is the author of Power Trip: America's Love Affair with Energy as well as other books. The subject of the above-mentioned book is self-explanatory, but she'll elaborate this evening with the help of local entrepreneur Gill Holland, owner and developer of the Green Building on East Market Street. Holland will bring a regional perspective to his interview with Little, although they'll also discuss national and global energy-related issues.

The interview begins at 7 p.m. at the downtown library (301 York Street) and is free to the public. Visit LFPL.org for tickets or or sweet talk a librarian over the phone at (502) 574-1644.
