    Bit to Do

Dulce de Leche Ice Cream from The Comfy Cow: a total must-try.

It’s that time of year when the world falls in love… with holiday indulgences. And even this Jewish gal has secular staples of Christmas that she looks forward to every year. One of which includes when Kim, my best friend since the first day of kindergarten, arrives back in town. It would be a strange Christmas indeed without her here. And as tradition goes, our hangout sessions always must revolve around palatable treats. I get my best friend, Christmas, and dessert fixes all in the same visit! It’s the epitome of friendship.

    The Comfy Cow

Kim savoring half Key to My Heart Lime Pie Ice Cream and half Cake Batter Up Ice Cream. You can’t go wrong with cake batter meets ice cream.

What better way to celebrate a lifelong friendship than devouring one-of-a-kind ice cream at one of my utmost favorite dessert locales in the ‘ville? When I heard about the Justin Timberlake ice cream, Kim’s and my first plan for her visit was to venture to get some glorious JT the best way we knew how: The Comfy Cow!! Alas, we discovered the Justin Timberlake ice cream would not be sold until next month. It’s a shame. Kim’s awesome boyfriend Marshall would have immensely enjoyed “Sweet Southern Nights,” as cobbler ranks up there on his list of favored desserts. The lack of JT just gave us an excuse to venture out and taste-test the other countless charming options.

    The Comfy Cow

Half Key to My Heart Lime Pie Ice Cream for Marshall as well (no wonder he and Kim are a perfect match) and half Cookie Monster Dough. Never say no to cookie dough!

    The Comfy Cow

Half Ginger 2 Snaps Ice Cream (not one snap, but two!) and half Cherry Amaretto Ice Cream. Bring on the Amaretto.

It makes me happy that The Comfy Cow has consistently great and imaginative ice cream choices with inventive names to match. Ginger 2 Snaps Ice Cream is a fully accurate moniker too, for that ice cream is spiced with seriously delicious attitude and has perfect bites of real gingersnap cookies swirled throughout. And for all you alcohol fans out there, Cherry Amaretto has real liqueur that elevates this cherry chocolate chip ice cream quite a few notches above the rest.

    Comfy Cow best friends

    Best friends reunited at last!

    We left as merry customers!

    All Smiles at Comfy Cow

Oh and Comfy Cow? Save me some of that Justin Timberlake ice cream, please. You know I’ll be back.
