The Comfy Cow is coming to a neighborhood near you.  After months of litigation over a decaying house on Frankfort Avenue, Frank Faris is selling his house and the Genny's Diner property to Tim and Roy Koons-McGee, owners of the Comfy Cow, a local ice cream and sweeet treats shop.

The Comfy Cow currently operates one location at the Westport Village, which will remain in addition to the new location in Clifton, if the sale goes through.  After the sale is completed, the Genny's Diner will become the Comfy Cow store, selling ice cream and other baked goods, while the house will be renovated and converted into office and retail space.

The Comfy Cow could open as soon as Valentine's Day, 2011, though the house renovation would take a bit longer.  However, the idea that the house will be renovated, not left to become further delapidated could make Koons-McGees the most popular people in the neighborhood, especially when you account for their delicious ice cream and desserts.

Though some will certainly miss the Sweet Daddy Burger and the Frickled Pickle Chips, the Comfy Cow should be a delightful new treat to the Clifton/Crescent hill neighborhood.
