Who doesn’t wanna see some boobs?  It’s a stupid question, I know.  Well you’re in luck, because The Boobs of Comedy will be performing in Louisville, as the latest stop on their current tour of the mid-west and southern United States.

The Boobs of Comedy is made up of three friends – David Britton, Jordan Mather-Licht, and led by Josh Cocks – who just wanted to go out on the road, let people laugh, and make themselves look like a bunch of boobs (with three of them, I’m left to only assume that they must hail from that cantina alien lady from “Total Recall”).

The three comics are staples on the booming comedy scene in Bloomington, IN (I know that sounds snarky and sarcastic, but it’s not – Bloomington has a thriving and impressive comedy scene).  The three friends decided to take to the road and bring their comedy to the masses who aren’t even asking for it…yet.  Originally conceived by Cocks with Mather-Licht, and their friend Mitchell Potts, Potts had to drop out for personal reasons and Britton stepped in to fill the hole.

Cocks placed at 2013 Limestone Comedy Festival and Mather-Licht is a 21 year old who is light ahead of other performers his age.  Britton was voted “The Funniest Person in Bloomington” and “The Funniest Person in Cincinnati.”  He was chosen to perform at Cincinnati Brew Ha Ha Festival and at Limestone Comedy Festival; and he hosts the “History Buffs” podcast.

David Britton, Jordan Mather-Licht, and Josh Cocks, known collectively as The Boobs of Comedy will be performing this weekend at The Bard’s Town on August 14th.  The show will begin at 8:00 PM, there will be sets by all three comedians, as well as most likely a few others from some their friends in Louisville comedy scene.  There is no advance ticketing it will cost $5 at the door.

    About Brent Owen

Born and raised in Louisville, I have lived here most of my life (except during a short furlough, when I, lovelorn and naive, followed a girl to Baton Rouge). My roots are here, my family, my friends, and my life are all here. I work primarily as a free-lance writer for a few local and regional publications. I have also written two books (one a memoir, the other a novel) that barring some divine intervention, will probably never see the light of day. I find myself deeply ingrained in the local bar scene, or perhaps better said, I often indulge in the local drinking culture. I love music, movies, comedy, and really just about any other live performance art.
