Louisville's Fall Bike to Work Day is on September 30, 2011. This is an organized event to encourage commuting by bicycle around Louisville.
How Can I Participate?
You can join in the fun just by commuting by bike, or you can join one of three Meet and Ride groups at 7:00 AM Friday morning to ride downtown with other riders and a ride captain from the Louisville Bicycle Club. If you register for the Fall Bike to Work Day, you can enter to win a Trek 7000 commuting bike.
The Meet and Ride locations will have parking for those driving to the meet-up location. Riders must have a helmet.
The Meet and Ride Group Meet-Up Spots are:

Bike to Work Day Celebration
There will be a celebration for the Fall Bike to Work Day on Friday at 12:00 at 4th Street Live! Meet up with other commuters, learn more about bicycle commuting, visit with local cycle vendors, and mingle with local celebrity Kirby Adams. The Trek 7000 giveaway will occur at the celebration, and there will also be drawings for other prizes and handouts of Louisville's new printed bike.
