More than 100 million albums worldwide.  That's indeed what we're dealing with in speaking of the superstar that is Lionel Richie.  I can't even fathom that quite frankly and while tickets aren't cheap, there are amazingly still great ones available!  At a spry 64 years of age, the man is one of the best selling artists of all time, a grandfather, and literally since I've been alive I feel like he's had a top 10 single at most every stage of my life.  This insightful bit of prose isn't going to do him justice, but the man was in The Commodores for the love of 'Dancing on the Ceiling'?!?!

Now Cee-Lo Green is a real piece of work.  Most of you may know him from that doo-wop hit of 'Forget (F#*^) You', come on this is a family show, and one of those singing contest shows but I knew him best when he was a part of Southern rappers Goodie Mob.  Ease up as I'm not pulling the 'I knew him before you, so I'm cooler card', I'm simply attempting to highlight how much range and talent the man really has.  "Beautiful Skin' came out in '98 and it was, and IS, one of the coldest rap/R&B ballads that there has ever been.  Fact!  Goodie Mob had some pretty solid success and Cee-Lo has really come to life as a solo artist so truly don't miss out on this journey folks.

Pure entertainment, although I wouldn't plan on hearing 'Beautiful Skin' (but you can bet I'll 'forget' off if we do), will ensue early this evening as doors open at 6:30 and I'm hearing Mr. Green is due to kickoff at 7:30.  HUGE thanks to the folks at the Yum! Center and you will not regret throwing out some extra loot for this one party people.  In me you trust, xoxo.
