The 5th Annual 18th Century Market Fair will take place at Historic Locust Grove on October 25 & 26 from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day. Market Fairs were important to the community as merchants, craftspeople, performers, soldiers and neighbors gathered to see entertainment, socialize and trade goods. The 18th Century Market Fair at Locust Grove will feature:
*An encampment of over 250 Colonial, British and Hessian soldiers & camp followers with mock battles each day.
*A village market with 40 merchants and skilled artisans making and selling goods. *Entertainers roving the grounds-Otto the Sword & Fire Swallower; The Amazing Budabi Brothers, Jugglers Extraordinaire! Celtic music provided by Father, Son &Friends

*18th Century food and drink-featuring His Lordship’s Beef &The Thomas Family Winery of Madison, IN with handmade wine and ale as well as Sweet Liberty featuring Locust Grove’s own bakers. This event takes place on the beautiful grounds of Historic Locust Grove, a 1790’s National Historic Landmark best known as the last home of Revolutionary War hero and founder of the city of Louisville, General George Rogers Clark. Locust Grove is located at 561 Blankenbaker Lane (between Brownsboro and River Road). Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children.
