I really don't like to gloat.  Well that's obviously not totally true, as we know, and this is one of those times where a healthy dose of "I told you so" should be handed out to all that didn't heed my genius call to get to the Wolfmother show last week.

With glorious locks of hair, easily rivaling J. Roddy and the Business, Kadavar warmed up the sold-out crowd at Headliners very well.

Wolfmother came out to an energy that was so strong the rock-n-roll anticipation clouded the air like the pollen that covers my stupid car every morning in this lovely Ohio Valley.

The set list was awesome, I couldn't imagine them doing anything better with the mixture of old/new bangers.   Kicking things off with "Dimension" things just getting more insane from there with "New Moon Rising" to "Woman" and you can get the idea after that.  Closing with "Joker and the Thief" was fairly expected but the intensity with which they delivered every song was simply larger than life.  While unfortunately I was unable to speak with Andrew Stockdale after the show he humbly stuck around and took photos with most anyone.

Kudos to everyone who came out and for showing up ready to get after it!  Huge thanks again to Tony Luby, everyone at McManus Entertainment, 5B Artist Management, Headliners, but especially Wolfmother.  Hope you chaps make it back soon and I imagine we'll sell out a bigger venue next time!
