    Nick Swardson at the Louisville Palace

    Nick Swardson is slated to bring his raucous, slice-of-life humor to the Louisville Palace on Sept. 25. An accomplished actor and film writer/producer, as well as a front-rank comedian, this 38 year-old Minnesota native has starred in various movies and television shows, while gathering industry notice for his astute skills as a writer and producer. Swardson’s maiden performance at The Palace is part of his massive, 40-city “Taste It” tour taking place this fall.

    10th Anniversary FAT Friday Trolley Hop on Frankfort Avenue
    Explore the shops, restaurants, and galleries along Frankfort Avenue via trolley at the FAT Friday Trolley Hop on September 26th. This special 10th Anniversary Trolley Hop will include a scavenger hunt, live music, refreshments, retail sales and much more. Free trolleys run along Frankfort Avenue from Cannons Lane to River Road.

    Bark in the Park 2014
    Bark in the Park is a celebration of all things canine. Each September, The Animal Care Society welcomes the general public to one of Metro Louisville’s most popular green spaces – Seneca Park.     NuLu Festival
    As the official kick-off PARTY to Idea Festival 2014, NuLu is hosting a street festival celebrating the revitalization of Louisville’s East Market District. Come enjoy live music by Sonablast Records, micro-brewed beers by Louisville Beer Store, and numerous food and retail booths by local vendors. There will be activities for all ages.     KY Center’s ArtsReach Benefit at ReSurfaced
    Gather at ReSurfaced, the pop-up plaza in downtown Louisville, for a afternoon and evening of fun! Enjoy beer, wine and other beverages available for purchase! Food trucks will be serving great local eats from 1pm-8pm. Heine Bros baristas will be on hand for all your caffeinated beverage needs. 

    1 - 5 p.m.: Hands-on activities and performances from The Kentucky Center and the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft – join us for hip hop dance masterclasses, chalk drawing, and performances from StageOne Family Theatre and River City Drum Corps. 

    2 - 5 p.m. Create a hanging garden and add the the community chalk art wall mural with KMAC arts educators Ramona Lindsey, Dana Wissmiller, and Sarah McCartt-Jackson, all ages
