Dressing for a summer festival, depending on who you are, is about just as important as picking out your line up. For me personally I've had my outfits picked out for a couple of weeks now, and have begun to preview some of them on my blog this week, check that out here for some inspiration for the guys out there or for the ladies that want to help their men out. But if you're still undecided on what to wear, have no fear I'm here to help.
Weather is the biggest factor when picking out what to wear for a festival weekend. If it's going be a scorcher, you'll need to know that ahead of time. Pick out light colors and thin fabrics to keep cool. Other than temperature be sure to check the forecast to see if there is any rain on the radar. If there is you'll want to keep that in mind when picking out your shoes for the day. Steer clear of suede or leather if it's going to pour, opt for a pair of sandals or rain boots if it's going to get real wet. Once you've got those two areas covered it's time to have some fun with it!
All general norms and accepted methods of dressing are thrown out the window for these long weekends, am I right? Girls are wearing bikini tops as shirts, and guys are wearing their swim suits instead of shorts. Take this as your invitation to try out something new that you've been wanting to do, but have been afraid of garnering too much odd looks.
