    Bit to Do

Va Va Valentine tops my list of things to do for Valentine's Day in Louisville

Hold on to your girdles and garters, girls and boys! Louisville's favorite burlesque troupe The Va Va Vixens return with their annual Louisville Valentine's Day celebration with Va Va Valentine.

Look no further if you're looking for something to do for Valentine's in Derby City. This "standing room only" troupe provides classy burlesque routines, great tunes, and group dance numbers alongside amazing feats of contortion, aerial art, comedy, magic, outlandish costumes and more. They perform several times a year on their home stage at Headliners Music Hall and just completed an audition with America's Got Talent (and won't hear anything for six weeks) after being requested by a casting producer.

While I fully expect them to bring on the steamy and sultry costumes and numbers, I can't wait to see what kind of hilarity and fun they bring to the table. Past hilarity includes a dancing lobster queen (Rock Lobster) or a dancing banana (phallic pun played on) and a giant conga line. Sex should include more shtick! These shows are great for a girls or guys night out or date night. Their creativity and playfullness is endearing to all while I always look forward to seeing what kind of new surprises are in store since every show is a new original production.

The troupe will be performing this year's original holiday treat February 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16.
Tickets are reasonably priced at $20 for general seating or $30 for V.I.P. For ticket purchase, contact Headliners Music Hall at 502.584.8088 or online at www.headlinerslouisville.com. You'll want to reserve as soon as possible as these shows tend to sell out! This is a great way to spend Valentine's Day in Louisville that will energize you for months to come. These folks always leave you wanting more. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm!
