Tonight is a special night for the entire Louisville Lightning franchise and for Lightning fans as Mockingbird Valley Soccer Club will be hosting two games for the price of one.

Beginning at 8 pm, the Louisville Lightning will take on the Detroit Waza team as they look to take a 2-1 lead against the Waza for the year.  After the main game, the Lightning reserve team will be taking on the Evansville Crush at 10pm.

Hoping to build on momentum after defeating the Ohio Vortex 8-3 last weekend, the Lightning are finishing up their 3-game home streak and the players hope to continue their winning streak with them on the road.  It won't be an easy task as the Lightning currently sit in 3rd place in the Eastern Division with a 3-6 record, but they know they are better than what their record reflects.

"We need wins, and we need to keep it going against the Waza this weekend," Lightning head coach Ted Nichols explained.  "We’re confident and we know we’re improving with each game also.  Detroit is a good team, but we need fan support and we need to protect our turf Friday night."

So get your tickets and come out early for the Kids' Fun Zone, DJ and Happy Hour for the adults.  It's a great family night for everyone!
