It's their first matchup of the year as the Louisville Lightning takes on the Illinois Piasa, Saturday February 19th at 8pm at Mockingbird Valley Soccer Complex.   It's not only $1 beer night, but also college night, so students get in for $7 a ticket.  Team officials are also encouraging all fans to wear black to support the Lightning Attack!

After a close 10-9 loss against the Detroit Waza last weekend, the Louisville Lightning hopes to get back on the winning side of things as they wrap up their second season.  There's only two remaining home games left for the Lightning this year, so make sure to get out to see them compete!

"We’re excited to be home and take on the Piasa," head coach Ted Nichols said. "We’re playing for pride and we still have an outside shot at a playoff spot.  We’re gonna be ready to play and finish out these last two home games, and hopefully pull out a big win against Cincinnati in the final game and get a playoff spot," Nichols stated.

In addition to the special festivities of the night, the Kolby’s Kickers Foundation will be raising money at the game to build new soccer fields and launch education initiatives for kids in Ethiopia.
