Returning to the field after a wildly successful inagural campaign, the Louisville Lightning will begin their quest for another great season tonight against the Cincinnati Kings.
At 8 pm at Mockingbird Valley Soccer Club (3000 Mellwood Avenue), come out and cheer on the Lightning as they kick off their sophomore season in Louisville. Although last year the Cincinnati team took the best of the series at 3-1, the Lightning hope to improve that statistic beginning tonight.
With former MLS players Thabiso Khumalo & Othaniel Yanez on the roster this season, in addition to many returning players from last year's team, the Lightning hope to capitalize on their very successful first season, finishing in 2nd place in the Eastern Division.
Be sure to come early and get in on the Lightning Happy Hour, starting at 6:45 with $1 domestic beer specials. Season ticket packages are still available, so be sure to get on the fan wagon early!
