It's been a season of ups and downs, high expectations and close losses for the Louisville Lightning Soccer Team.  With two games left in the regular season, fans have their last chance to see the Lightning play at home against the Ohio Vortex, Friday February 25th at 8 pm.

With the events planned for their home finale, there's plenty of reason to come out and continue your support, or check the team out for the first time!

Friday's game is sponsored by www.LouisvilleCatholicSports.com, so be sure to wear Catholic elementary or high school apparel to receive a discounted admission to the game for $7.  During the game, LouisvilleCatholicSports.com will also be honoring the boys and girls 2010 Sentry Insurance All-Catholic high school teams.

At halftime of the game, the Lightning will also be hosting a visit from former UofL quarterback and current Buffalo Bills player Brian Brohm.  Four lucky fans will have a chance to compete agains Brohm in the "Brian Brohm Football/Futbol Challenge."

Also throughout the week, be sure to check out www.louisvillelightning.com to put your bid in for the game-worn jerseys currently on auction.  The winners will be announced during Friday night's game, so be sure to see if your favorite Louisville Lightning player's jersey is available!

Bring a canned good to the game and get a $3 discount as Dare to Care Food Bank is the charity of the week.

At the end of the game, the fun isn't over as the Lightning Reserve team is in action immediately after.   It's two games for the price of one!

On the field, the Lightning hope to finish the season on a two-game winning streak, starting Friday against Ohio.  Louisville has played the Vortex three times already this season, going 3-0 in those games.  As head coach Ted Nichols said " We have to come out and play inspired soccer this Friday night. We have to get back to our mission and complete the season on a high note.  We need to win these last two games."
