Those Darlin’s are a southern rock trio with attitude.  Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee – the band moved into the indie-rock scene with their 2009, self-titled debut.  They have since released two more critically acclaimed albums Screws Get Loose (2011) and Blur the Line (2013).  The band has been road warriors for half a decade and toured as opening acts in front of bands like Drive-by Truckers, Best Coast, and Old 97’s.

They were recently voted by PASTE Magazine as one of the best live bands of 2014, alongside such esteemed company as:  Alice Cooper, War on Drugs, Outkast, The Replacements, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Diarrhea Planet, and Nick Cave.

They will be playing tonight April 24th at Zanzabar (21+).  Doors open at 8 PM, show starts at 9 PM and tickets are still available $10-$12.  Adia Victoria will also be on the show.

    About Brent Owen

Born and raised in Louisville, I have lived here most of my life (except during a short furlough, when I, lovelorn and naive, followed a girl to Baton Rouge). My roots are here, my family, my friends, and my life are all here. I work primarily as a free-lance writer for a few local and regional publications. I have also written two books (one a memoir, the other a novel) that barring some divine intervention, will probably never see the light of day. I find myself deeply ingrained in the local bar scene, or perhaps better said, I often indulge in the local drinking culture. I love music, movies, comedy, and really just about any other live performance art.
