    Bit to Do

    Swan Lake

The eternally relevant tale of good over evil that is Swan Lake takes place vi Louisville Ballet this weekend at Kentucky Center.

Swan Lake will be performed on Sept. 13 at 8 p.m. and on Sept. 14 at 2 and 8 p.m. All performances are to happen in Whitney Hall at Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 W Main Street in downtown Louisville.

Tickets for each show are $30-$87 per person, depending on the seat. All tickets can be purchased at the Kentucky Center box office, the Kentucky Center website, or by calling the box office at 1-800-775-7777.

Swan Lake features the classic story of a beautiful princess and an awful spell. At midnight, this princess becomes a swan each night at midnight. This spell may keep the princess from her true love unless the spell can be broken.

The show runs for 2 1/2 hours and will have two intermissions.

Following Swan Lake, Louisville Ballet will present The Brown-Forman Nutcracker. That production will go on in December. More information on the show can be found at the Louisville Ballet website.
