Louisville Ballet gives audiences a glimpse into the future in closer, more intimate surroundings with Choreographers' Showcase that takes place starting today.
The Choreographers' Showcase will take place Jan. 22-25 at 8 p.m. each night. All performances will happen at Louisville Ballet, located at 315 E Main Street in downtown Louisvillle.
Tickets for each show are $25 for non-season subscribers and $20 for those who have season subscriptions. All tickets can be purchased 502-583-2623 or at the Louisville Ballet box office. Keep in mind that Choreographers' Showcase has sold out in the past, so buying tickets in advance is strongly recommended.
Choreographers's Showcase is Louisville Ballet's annual performance of new works and ideas from Louisville Ballet's artists and creators. The performances, which include multiple styles of dance, sometimes in the same work, are performed in an intimate studio setting to allow audiences an up-close look at the future direction of Louisville Ballet works.
Following the Choreographers Showcase, Louisville Ballet will return to the mainstage for performances of La Sylphide. That show will go on in February.
