On November 25, 1976 americana folk rock group, The Band, played the most elaborate "farewell" concert ever,The Last Waltz. The 5,000 audience members were treated to a turkey dinner, ballroom dancing, poetry readings from Beat poets, Lawrence Ferlinghetti and Diane de Prima, and a concert that featured Bob Dylan, Ringo Starr, Dr. John, Joni Mitchell, Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton, and other notable artists of the time.

This Saturday, May 23, Mercury Ballroom will host "Such a Night-Recreating the Music of The Last Waltz", a concert tour created in the memory of The Band's Levon Helm. "Such a Night" lends an opportunity to experience one of the most iconic concerts of all time, minus the turkey dinner and ballroom dancing.

Tickets are available at Live Nation for $15. A portion of the event's proceeds will benefit Musician's Emergency Relief Foundation in memory of Lamont Gillespie.
