    Tuesday (2/16)

    The New Vintage
Boston group, Sessions Americana, is "a rock band in a tea cup, or possibly a folk band in a whiskey bottle." Playing with them are the sweet, local ladies from Maiden Radio.
    Haymarket Whiskey Bar
Folk, blues, and rock all swirled to form a solid vibrant sound.

    Dead Room Cult and Powell
    The Highlands Tap Room
Let's get funky and rock out. Check out our previous interview with the brothers from Powell.

    Wednesday (2/17)

    The New Vintage
This promises to be a great show. Cedric Burnside is a hell of a drummer, banging out tunes influenced by hip hop and funk with a Mississippi blues backbone. Burnside also made an appearance as the drummer in Samuel L. Jackson’s 2007 film, Black Snake Moans.

This line up showcases the unique creativity the midwest is packing. I’m really digging Brenda. The local band keeps it simple, fun, and catchy. I mean, I’ll be at this show for sure.
    Tenasie
    The Hideaway Saloon
A taste of country pop from Nashville.

    Thursday (2/18)

    Mercury Ballroom
It’s hard to pin point a genre here because they ebb and flow throughout. The groups seems to have a decent following, so the live shows must be good!

    Zanzabar
Knight is a Kentucky bred singer-songwriter.

    Friday (2/19)

    Zanzabar
Touring behind their latest album, Love Yes, Teen, ascribes a kind of chill with pop overtones. I think the real gem here is the Nashville band, Faux Ferocious. It’s an attainable psych rock.
    KFC Yum! Center
The country music star and television personality is coming to the ville. Expect cowboy boots and tall Bud Lights tonight.

    The New Vintage
A local show, but not just for locals. Just remember it is okay to invite yourself. It’s a weird mix of genres, so there’s a little bit of something for everyone here.

    Saturday (2/20)

    Zanzabar
Freakwater's unusual mix of alternative and country is strangely good.

    The New Vintage
Joining Nashville's pop folk band, Humming House, is Louisville's newest rockabilly band, The Bang Bangs.

    Kaiju
Another great local line up showcasing Louisville's vast talent.

    In The Valley Below

    Haymarket Whiskey Bar

    Sunday (2/21)

    KFC Yum! Center
Yes, just yes. As soon as tickets went on sale I snagged a pair. Can't wait to see Brucey live!

    Mass Gothic
    Zanzabar

Mass Gothic is Noel Herouz solo project and it has no restictions.
