You’ve made your way through the list of Louisville’s haunted houses, so consider the scare factor of a new setting. This Saturday, head to the source of Halloween hysteria - the cemetery.
Steve Wiser will guide guests on a timely tour of Louisville’s iconic Cave Hill Cemetery on October 20, from 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. The after-hours tour will focus on the history of the cemetery while participants travel in a rustic hay wagon. Cave Hill hosts the graves of Louisville legends George Rogers Clark, Pete Browning, and many more.
The tour is limited to 18-20 people, and the cost to ride is $35 per person.
In case the hullabaloo of Halloween doesn’t thrill you, the Civil War Historical Walking Tour will also be held on Saturday, guided by Civil War Historian Bryan Bush. The tour times begins at 9:00 a.m. and lasts until 11:00 a.m.; the cost is $15.
