Bardstown Bound "BooFest" has a little something spooky for everyone, and it has returned to the Highlands in Louisville for the twelfth year. It is on Saturday, October 24 from noon to the witching hour.

Bardstown Bound "BooFest" is, according to Caroline Knop of Simply PR, "one of the sweetest grassroots community events around!" It is an all day affair along Bardstown Road, and more specifically in the area that has been deemed Boo Alley, which is the parking lot of William Dean Salon. The main event runs from 2 p.m to 7 p.m., but there are other activities going on before and after that. It is one of the longest running events celebrating Halloween and the Highlands and folks can enjoy Boo Alley, trick or treating, and the Valu Market candy maze for children and families as well as the newly added costume contest for those lovable pets.

Trick or treat the streets of the Highlands as restaurants, bars and store along Bardstown Road open their doors and invite everyone to gather some goodies as well as shop, eat and drink throughout the street! Some of the highlights of this event include the following:

~From 2pm to 7pm, Boo Alley at William Dean Parking Lot will feature festive fun!  Gordon Biersch will have two seasonal beers on tap
