Everyone knows Lotsa Pasta. Everyone loves Lotsa Pasta. You know you do. But do you know about their rack of herbs and spices over by the cheese? You should. Especially if you’re looking to explore new flavors!
To the left of the front door stands a wall of tiny, colorful plastic containers in neat rows. Inside each container is a different dried herb or spice. The selection is phenomenal for a small establishment, and the prices are fantastic. Plus, I reuse those cute little containers they come in to store everything from leftover sauces to snacks to homemade ice creams!
My favorites are ground cumin, garam masala, whole nutmeg, and lavender. You won’t believe how inexpensive they are compared to what you pay at a typical grocery store. This is particularly true of the nutmeg, which is a fantastic deal.
