There are some things in the world I would never admit to, even if they were true.  Obviously this leaves gross amounts of room for discussion, but one thing I will admit is that I used to watch ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.  I’ve also been a rumored fan of other such network television dramas, however those are irrelevant and possible tall tales anyway.  Why is the fact I’ve watched ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ before?  Well for most of us, the introduction to Ireland’s Snow Patrol came from the airing of their international smash hit Chasing Cars during that wonderfully plot twisting program about a Seattle hospital in May of 2006; oh forgive me, yes, Snow Patrol.

For some Snow Patrol is for those rainy days when you decide to blame sushi for food poisoning, lay in bed thinking about life, and all that is wrong with the world.  Not so remarkably, there is a lot more to them than the often melancholy vibe they get lumped into.  I was fortunate enough to catch Snow Patrol open for Death Cab for Cutie in NYC a few years back, and I assure you the put together a passionately packed production that should be even better with more recent upbeat jams like Take Back the City. It  won’t so much make you want to contemplate a swan dive from the Brooklyn Bridge, but more make you compassionately wish you were McDreamy saving lives and snatching up the latest 1st year resident.  In support of their latest release, Fallen Empires, I look forward to a marveled experience splashed with a few possible reruns of those most coveted past episodes.

What else is very compelling about this show will be former Oasis front man, and co-founder, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds warming up.  I also had the fortune to see Oasis, back when Jet was still a viable opener (oh come on you loved ‘Are you gonna be my girl’ just like the rest of us), and as thousands of you can attest they put on quite the spectacle and even do a great live show!  In listening to some of Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, it seems he’s taken a bit different more psychedelic path which I look forward to seeing live.  Either way it guarantees to give audible pleasure to all in attendance and as of now, great tickets are still available!
