If you have a remote interest in blues, rock and roll, or just music the chances you've heard of Buddy Guy are great.  Guy has won 6 Grammy's (that's right), was voted 30th on the 'All Time Greatest Guitarist' list by Rolling Stone Magazine, is a member of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and most recently was awarded the 2012 Kennedy Center Honors.  There are actually more awards that have come Guy's way, but the list is simply to long to include.  Needless to say his range of influence, guitar/blues mastery, and genius is tough to compete with.  He's a legend clear and simple.

Jonny Lang, however, does his best and may just 'catch' Guy eventually.  At just 14, Lang had already joined a band and got signed by A & R in 1996 (at 15).  Having also won a Grammy, Lang has grown into quite the celebrated guitarist sharing stages with the best of the best and just really wails.

Last I looked, Louisville, there are lower level seats amazingly still available so get on board!!  For all lovers of music, and even given some enticing shows around town tonight, how often do you get to see the 30th greatest guitar player of all time?
