One of Neil Simon's most beloved works, Rumors, is set to take place at Hayswood Theatre beginning tomorrow at Hayswood Theatre.
Rumors will take place on May 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, and 25 at 8 p.m. each night. Matinees on May 12, 19, and 26 are to happen at 2 p.m. each day. All performances will happen at Hayswood Theatre, located at 115 S Capitol Ave. in Corydon, IN.
Tickets for each show are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $12 for students. Due to limited seating, reserving tickets in advance is highly recommended and can be done by calling the Harrison County Convention and Visitors Bureau at 812-738-2138.
Rumors features a couple who arrive early for an anniversary party only to find the place barren. There's no food, no hosts, and there's a dead client in the bedroom. As other guests arrive, the couple is forced to pretend everything's fine. As time progresses, however, rumors swirl, mysteries are created, and the comedy intensifies.
Simon created the production, which George Robert Bailey directed for Hayswood Theatre.
