Newlyweds try to find romantic bliss in the comedy Barefoot in the Park, which opens tomorrow.

Barefoot in the Park will take place on Feb. 17, 18, 24, 25, March 2, and 3 at 8 p.m. each night.  Matinee shows, meanwhile, will go on Feb. 19, 26, and March 4 at 2 p.m. each day.  All performances are to happen at Hayswood Theatre, located at 115 S. Capitol Avenue in Corydon, IN.

Tickets for each show are $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens 65 and over, and $10 for students 17 years and under.  Due to limited seating, tickets in advance are highly recommended and can be purchased by calling 812-738-2138 or 888-738-2137.  Some tickets may be available at the door on the night of the show.  More information on the show can be found at the Hayswood Theatre website.

Romance and comedy are all over the place in Barefoot in the Park.  Two newlyweds are liviing in a small and somewhat cold New York City apartment.  The newlyweds are Paul, a straight-laced lawyer type who may be a little too uptight, and Corie, who is more of a romantic with a livelier personality.  Enjoy the hilarity as possible outside influences test the relationship.

Neil Simon created Barefoot in the Park, which John Hardaway directed.  The cast includes Jeff Ketterman, Carrie Cooke, Charlie Swarens, Scott Smith, Rita Hight, and Woody Woodfin.

Following Barefoot in the Park, Hayswood Theatre will present Blazing Guns at Roaring Gulch.  That production will run in May.
