This year, FEAT’s 9th Annual Outrunning Autism 5K will take place on May 31 at the new location of Parklands of Floyd’s Fork-Beckley Creek Park in the East End of Louisville.
Each year has seen an increase in participation rates and the new location will accommodate the expected number 1000 plus participants and spectators.
Like last year, there will be a Kid’s Zone area with bounce houses, face painting and balloons as well as a Vendor Village with autism service providers and area businesses.
Early registration is open through May 7th and is $25. After that date, registration is open until the day of the race at $35.

April 2 is Autism Awareness Day and April is Autism Awareness month. Creating a team to walk and raise funds in support of community services for families affected by autism would be a great way to celebrate neurodiversity in our community.
That’s what I’ll be doing.
FEAT stands for Families for Effective Autism Treatment and is an organization committed to: Easing the autism journey through a community network created for families by families to provide ongoing support, education, programs and resources.
