A mouse receives a cookie, the best ever Christmas pageant takes place, and a little monkey business will happen during the upcoming theatre season from Stage One.
During the season, Stage One will present If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (September-October), The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (November-December), Tuck Everlasting (February-March 2011), and Junie B. Jones and a Little Moonkey Business (April-May 2011).
Season tickets are available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased in either two play, three play, or four play packages. Stage One's season opens with performances of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie in September and October. The show is based on the book in the "If You Give..." series and features a mouse wanting a cookie, then milk, and a napkin, etc. The production is recommended for kids aged three to eight.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever follows in November and December. The Hermans, considered to be the worst kids in the world, have made their way into a church's Christmas pageant. They could either ruin it or be influenced by the Christmas spirit. The production is recommended for kids aged eight and above.
Tuck Everlasting will be Stage One's third show, occuring in February and March 2011. Winnie Foster found a spring, which gives everlasting life to whomever drinks from it. It's up to Foster to determine if she wants eternal life as well as keeping the Tuck family's secret. This show is for those aged nine and up.
Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business will close the Stage One season in April and May 2011. Based on the namesake book, the musical features a spirited lady named Junie B. Jones has received a monkey for a brother. The production is recommended for those aged five to eight.
