This is the night Louisville’s been waiting for since March.  The best remaining Beatle is going to rock KFC Yum!  Center tonight, the latest stop on his Out There Tour; rescheduled from the June 26th date, which was canceled due to illness.

This show is going to be a major treat based on the intimacy of the venue, Sir Paul generally plays Stadiums that hold 60,000+, not 20,000 arenas – so we’re going to get a very special performance.  Traditionally, he will play a long hardy set, packed full of truly classic songs spanning his entire career from The Beatles, Wings, and his epic solo career.  You will most likely hear from “Hey Jude” to “Maybe I’m Amazed” and everything in between; not to mention perhaps a few from his critically acclaimed most recent album New.

Unsurprisingly, the show is Sold Out, but if you did manage to get tickets it will begin at 8 PM, and there will be no opening act.

    About Brent Owen

Born and raised in Louisville, I have lived here most of my life (except during a short furlough, when I, lovelorn and naive, followed a girl to Baton Rouge). My roots are here, my family, my friends, and my life are all here. I work primarily as a free-lance writer for a few local and regional publications. I have also written two books (one a memoir, the other a novel) that barring some divine intervention, will probably never see the light of day. I find myself deeply ingrained in the local bar scene, or perhaps better said, I often indulge in the local drinking culture. I love music, movies, comedy, and really just about any other live performance art.
