Being snowed in for five days has caused every fiber of my being to long for warmer times. The beginning of my summer isn’t marked by the solstice; instead, it is marked by Abbey Road on the River. As a huge Beatles fan, I couldn’t be happier that this festival occurs right in my own backyard!
The 5-day event is going to be bigger and better than ever this year. The Orchestra, comprised of former members of ELO, will be a main attraction along with speaker Julia Baird, sister of John Lennon. Many Abbey Road of the River favorites will be returning including former Wings member Laurence Juber, BritBeat, The Jukebox, Wingsbanned, Nervous Melvin and the Mistakes, and Southern Sirens.
