Tiny and nestled in on Wallace Avenue in St. Matthews is NamNam Café, a lovely little place serving real Vietnamese cuisine. It smells incredible, and every item I have eaten there has been delicious. However, I have a couple favorites to share with you:

+ Beef Summer Rolls – Tender beef cooked in lemongrass, vinegar, and coconut, then wrapped snugly with lettuce, cucumber, mint, vermicelli noodles, bean sprouts, and onion. Served with a container of Nuoc Mam, a sweet and slightly spicy dipping sauce. These are so beautiful.

+ Pork Tacos – Tender pork is topped with carrots, cucumber, fresh jalapenos, cool cilantro, and a drizzle of spicy mayo. The corn tortilla is a little dry, but tastes great.

+ Honeydew Bubble Tea – I hate honeydew, but this drink is refreshing and tastes like candy. In a good way.

Their Banh Mi is delicious, too. And the crepes… Mmm. Check out NamNam soon if you haven’t already!
