Tomorrow, November 27th, Nancy Tarrant of Louisville’s very own Food Network star, The Cheddar Box, will be opening a new breakfast and lunch location right across the street from her original storefront called The Cheddar Box Too!
Chef Derek Roberts will be whipping up inventive creations with 2-3 specials and a different soup every day, but they will also offer sandwiches, burgers, and some original Cheddar Box favorites, including their Tomato-Artichoke Soup. An espresso machine will meet your caffeine needs, and catering will, of course, be available.
Nancy says that her new place will serve “more than just sandwiches”, but just a couple months ago, The Cheddar Box’s Benedictine BLT was named the must-try sandwich of Kentucky in Food Network magazine. I hope to see THAT sandwich on the new location’s menu, and I’m sure I’m not the only one!
A couple nights a month, they plan to host private dinners with tailored menus. You could rent the entire restaurant for an effortless dinner party!
