    Bit to Do

Wrestling super star Al Snow has expanded his interests by mixing local OVW wrestlers with local Burlesque crew Cirque Airotic. The result is Mondo Wrestling-A-Go-Go, a show being done at OVW's Davis Arena.

The show includes over the top comedic wrestling matches that play largely on cultural stereotypes, aerial acts, live music and other circus based performances. The antics kept me laughing.  The most recent rendition was produced in June and the performances varied from wrestling and humor to contortion, aerials, a Thriller lip sync, and a BDSM aerial act. Snow says there will be more in the future.

    Here are some photos.

The Boyzz by Knight danced and brought out glowsticks after adjustig their performance in the mirrors.

A little blurry but still a great photo as Cyndi Snow kisses one of the Boyzz by Night.

The band Susie Q opened the show and played during intermission.

Soul Aira Bay did an intriquing contortion act while dressed as a doll that one of the wrestlers found stuffed in a trunk.

Most of the night was pretty humorous, although relying heavily on stereotyped race humor, but this one was my favorite.

Olivencia(on knees in front) stole my heart (or at least the title as funniest moment) when he recovered the gun and amidst heightened stress/tension screamed "SHUT UP! SHUT UP! EVERYBODY JUST SHUT THE EFF UP" as he waved the gun at his opponent and the audience. The entire scene was so ridiculously funny due to the fake guns being taken so seriously, as further evidenced by the dead ref in the next photo.

Krypta Knight performed on both the lyra and the Spanish Webb.

The Pickle Brothers Circus made an appearance; Travis Fessler swallowed fire and swords while Erik Fessler juggled fire.

This trailer park team wrestled the more effiminate team, the Glory Holes.
