The word "Vaudeville" became a common way to describe a form of American variety entertainment after a Louisville troupe was formed in 1871. Award winning comedian Divinity Rose pairs up with renaissance faire sensation John Cowgell (also known as "Pocket the Fool") at the Bard's Town on October 17th for a wild night of interactive comedy, music, and multi-media fun in her new series known as "Vaude in the Ville."
Va Va Vixens tantalized a hungry crowd last night with a three hour feast of food, feats and fantasy! Don't miss the remaining two shows tonight and tomorrow. Perfect recipe of humor, sensuality, dance, and fun.
Mondo Wrestling A Go Go is the brainchild of wrestling super star Al Snow and brings together wrestlers and burlesque/circus acts.
If you are looking for a night out with the girls, or a little date night fun, look no further than Va Va Vintage.
Tonight , November 13, is opening night for Va Va Vintage at Art Sanctuary and the Alley Theater. A group of singers, dancers, contortionists, aerialists and an illusionist take you back in time to the era of vaudeville. The preshow is a medley of torch songs by elegant clad ladies starting at about 7:40.
The Va Va Vixens are Louisville's only regularly performing burlesque troop and plan to bring Vaudeville to the stage in November.
