    The Alley Theater

Back to the beginning: Alley Theater presents a new adaptation of its first-ever show, Metamorphosis, beginning this weekend.

Metamorphosis will take place on Sept. 12, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, and 28 at 7:30 p.m. each night. All performances are to happen at Alley Theater, located at The Pointe at 1205 E. Washington St. in the Butchertown area of Louisville.

Tickets for each show are $17 per person.  If a student under 18 with ID, tickets are $15. Student rush tickets will also be available before each show. All tickets can be purchased at the door or the Alley Theater website.

Metamorphosis is based on Franz Kafka's novella about a man who is transformed into a large, insect-like figure. Adjusting to this new look and reality is hard not just for him but also for his family. Along with the adjustments come a new understanding of the man's life and his place in society.

The stage adaptation of Kafka's work was one of the first shows to be performed with Alley Theater.

More information on the show can be found at the Alley Theater website.
