Politics and the 24-hour news cycle are condensed into 75-minute performances in Electile Dysfunction, which will open at the Alley Theater on Friday.

Electile Dysfuction will occur on Oct. 26, 27, Nov. 2, 3, 9, and 10 at 8 p.m. each night.  All performances are to happen at the Alley Theater, located at The Pointe, located at 1205 East Washington Street in the Butchertown area.

Tickets for each show are $10 per person and can be purchased online at The Alley Theater website.  Tickets may also be sold at the door.

Electile Dysfuction turns the election season into a 75-minute attempt at democracy via a part-scripted, part-improvised, audience interaction performance.  Two candidates will bring their cases to the public.  They'll do meet and greets, debate, use the media, and discuss with focus groups in ann attempt to win the audience's vote at the end of the night.

More information on the show can be found at the Alley Theater Facebook page.
