Back to the beginning: Alley Theater presents a new adaptation of its first-ever show, Metamorphosis, beginning this weekend.
Metamorphosis will take place on Sept. 12, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, and 28 at 7:30 p.m. each night. All performances are to happen at Alley Theater, located at The Pointe at 1205 E. Washington St. [4] in the Butchertown area of Louisville.
Tickets for each show are $17 per person. If a student under 18 with ID, tickets are $15. Student rush tickets will also be available before each show. All tickets can be purchased at the door or the Alley Theater [5] website.
Metamorphosis is based on Franz Kafka's novella about a man who is transformed into a large, insect-like figure. Adjusting to this new look and reality is hard not just for him but also for his family. Along with the adjustments come a new understanding of the man's life and his place in society.
The stage adaptation of Kafka's work was one of the first shows to be performed with Alley Theater.
