All-male and all-female casts bring the Quentin Tarantino classic Reservoir Dogs to the stage this weekend at Alley Theater.

Reservior Dogs will feature all-male casts on Aug. 2, 5, 9, 16, and 23.  The all-female casts are to perform on Aug. 3, 10, 12, 17, and 24.  All performances start at 7:30 p.m. and will take place at Alley Theater, located in The Pointe at 1205 E Washington St. in the Butchertown section of Louisville.

Tickets for most shows are $17 per person.  Special industry night shows, Aug. 5 and 12, are $12 per person.  All tickets can be purchased at the door or by going to The Alley Theater website.  Keep in mind that the show contains mature themes, loud gunshots, graphic violence, and strong language.

Reservoir Dogs focuses on the events before and after a problematic diamond robbery.  The film, released in 1992, became a cult classic and set up many of Tarantino's traits, including crime, lots of profanity, plenty of violence, and pop culture references, among others.

For Alley Theater, Tony Smith and Patrick Bias directed the all-male cast, and Katie Dearmond and Ben Unwin directed the all-female casts.
