Matt & Kim are crazy. For real. Their show was wild, spectacular, weird, amazing and downright entertaining. The Forecastle Ocean Stage was packed with fans cheering on Matt & Kim as they jammed on stage with Kim on drums and Matt on keyboard. They played “Camera,” “It’s Alright ,” “Block after Block,” “Let’s Go” as well as incorporated songs like “Move Bitch (Get Out the Way)” (Ludacris) and “Let Me Clear My Throat” (DJ Kool). During the song, Kim stood on her drum base, twerked on the crowd and an eager fan tried to get on stage to meet her. Matt sang, stood on his keyboard stool, and danced in front of the audience. People were crowd surfing, and drinks were being thrown everywhere. Honestly, it’s hard to explain. You had to be there to fully grasp the awesomeness of Matt & Kim’s performance. I think I can speak for everyone at the Forecastle crowd when I say that Matt & Kim’s performance was a major highlight of the festival. All I can say is, Matt & Kim are worth seeing live and if you get the chance, take it! You won’t regret it!
