    Sandy's Pet Shop
This is a wonderful local pet shop to pick up food, toys, accessories, etc. And it's also a great place to go if you're having a bad day and just need to pet some puppies.

    HomeFit Personal Training Company
Because my butt looked better after just one session. And they'll come to your home!

    The french fries at 8UP
Even though I haven't had them, judging by their smell, I know I would love them.

    This cold weather
Because it finally feels like winter.

The White Russian at The Back Door
$6.25 for the best drink in town.

    Abeille Spa
I finally got to use my gift card: the gift of supreme hair care and manicures is a gift that keeps on giving!

    Chrome Pony at Z-bar
    Thursday, be there.

91.9 WFPK 20th Anniversary Celebration Louisville All Star Jam at The Brown
Wow wee! I can’t wait to see some of Louisville’s best artists playing together on one stage. Really hoping for a “Pump Up The Jam” cover, just sayin’.

Toast and Eggs from Toast on Market
This is my hangover cure signature and you better believe I had it twice this week with New Year’s and all. Over medium eggs on a toasted brioche with harissa hot sauce, oh lord! Plus it’s only $6.25.

Linda Adele Goodine Photographs at 21c

    Wild Rita’s Happy Hour
Gettin’ wild on a budget. $4 casa ‘ritas and half price tacos.

    The Louisville Zoo
It's chilly outside and the animals are loving it. Plus, polar bear Qannik’s 4th birthday party is this Saturday, and who doesn’t want to watch a bear eat cake?

Fernando Martinez and Co.'s upcoming restaurant, Mercato Italiano Trattoria and Market
It’s opening this January in Norton Commons. Martinez and Co. already proved they can do Italian amazingly well (with the now-closed Cena Italian Trattoria in the basement of Mussel & Burger Bar) so here's hoping a less J-town-y location will prove winning for the concept.

The 7th Annual Give-a-Jam for the cure is this weekend at Headliners
Great show for a great cause!

    The @skylouisville Instagram account
    So cool.
