Pop sensation Meghan Trainor is starting off 2015 by bringing some welcome swagger with her first ever North American headline tour. Trainor exploded onto the music scene in June with her hybrid doo wop/pop anthem of body positivity, “All About That Bass” and instantly earwormed her way to massive public acclaim.

Trainor’s EP is currently available on iTunes and features other catchy songs like “Dear Future Husband” and “Title” that also rock sassy, sincere lyrics. The Title EP has delightedly been extended as a full-length debut to be released January 13, 2015. You can listen to her newest single, “Lips Are Movin’,” which is climbing its way up on iTunes hot Top 20 singles.

All of this is in preparation to fire up Trainor’s THAT BASS TOUR, produced by Live Nation. It is going to be a fantastic show. Louisville gets to be a witness as Trainor’s star just continues to rise.

As an additional musical treat, Australian pop band Sheppard will be special guests on the THAT BASS TOUR. Sheppard’s song “Geronimo” is bursting with a fresh, current vitality that is perfect to go along side Trainor’s captivating hits.

Fun facts to get you even more stoked for the concert: “All About That Bass” went six-times platinum. It secured the number one spot on the Hot Billboard 100 chart for eight consecutive weeks. Trainor made history, officially tying with Michael Jackson for longest leading number one single in Epic Records history, and longest number one by a female artist so far this year. You also might have just seen Meghan Trainor team up with country star Miranda Lambert to slay the affirmative anthem as a fierce duet at the Country Music Awards.

Sunday, March 1, 2015, Louisville is excited to welcome Meghan Trainor to the Mercury Ballroom. Tickets are $20 in advance, and will be on sale beginning tomorrow, Saturday, November 8 at 10 a.m. Showtime kicks off at 7 p.m., but doors will be open as early as 6 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased at www.mercuryballroom.com or at The Louisville Palace Box Office, 625 South Fourth Street.
