I am here presented with a subject that feels somewhat like home base for me. A subject that I feel I have earned a certain amount of life expertise. I know know this. Therefore, it is impossible for me to write cohesively about my experiences. Not without a substantial amount of nervous energy and expectation. I happen to be the daughter of one of those fancy “Attorney-at-Law” peeps – and, yes, we’ll be getting to that kind of business here, folks. Brass name plates, pin stripes, shoe polish and high-backed leather chairs punctuated my childhood memories of being downtown. Ever played My Little Pony in an empty row during a juried rape trial? Yeah - been there, done that. Old hat, yo.
