This Saturday and Sunday, August 7th and 8th, the Louisville Zoo is showcasing the Latin culture with a weekend long event featuring the popular children’s show star of Nickelodeon’s Go, Diego, Go!

From 12-4 pm on both Saturday and Sunday, meet and greet Diego in the Zoo Vision building as he helps the zoo celebrate Latin customs with music and dance performances throughout the day. The DJ from radio station La Caliente 105.7FM& La Explosiva 940AM will be broadcasting live from 12-2 on both days, with a follow-up performance from the Dancers Arcoiris Latino on Saturday and Dancers Mexico Lindo on Sunday.

Saturday afternoon activities include DJ, music and games from radio stations 105.7FM & 940AM. The 2-day party wraps up Sunday afternoon with some live music from the group Mariachi Aguilas de Oro.

The headliner of the show, Diego is multi-functional for this particular festivity as he is not only an 8 year-old Latino action adventure hero, his goal is to save and protect the animals and their environment. He’s the perfect face for a great blowout bash!

Bring the family and kiddos out to meet Diego and celebrate the Latin Family Festival at the Louisville Zoo!
